It's back-to-school time for bedbugs

advertisement

Laptops, textbooks and new jeans are among the must-haves for college students heading back to campus, but the most common back-to-school item may well be the blood-sucking bedbug.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I'm worried that my mattress might have bedbugs in it, since I've seen black dust around it. How many treatments would it need to get rid of the suckers, and how much would it cost? I'm on a very srict budget, so this matters to me.

Maybe I should just sleep on a floor mat like people in far-off countries do.

Additional Bed Bug Dog Detection Teams Trained for Growing Infestation Problem

    Bed Bug Infestations are Increasing

Toms River, NJ: Action Termite and Pest Control (www.actionpestcontrol.com ) is pleased to announce that we have added two new employees to our Bed Bug Dog Detection Teams. With an increase in bed bug infestations in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, Action Termite and Pest Control ads additional depth to our growing Bed Bug Dog Detection Division.

Action's Bed Bug Dog Detection Teams are made possible by the unique abilities and highly sensitive nose of Sarah and Rex. Sara and Rex, are certified Bed Bug Dogs, trained by the Florida Canine Academy. Each dog has over 800 hours of training to detect bed bugs in commercial and residential buildings. Both were originally rescued from a shelter in South Florida and is now helping Action Termite and Pest Control protect the environment of our customers.

In the past, chemical applications had to be made throughout a given hotel, education facility, hospital, nursing home or furniture store . Thanks to Sara and Rex, targeted treatments to the infestation area or rooms are possible. The savings a multiple room establishment or large complex yields by doing a sweep with the Action's Bed Bug Dog Teams is considerable and the dogs are over 90% accurate.

"Bed bug's are a big problem in recent years and the trend is continuing to grow " commented Michael Russell, Vice President of Sales. " Our customers are very happy to have Sara and Rex sweep through their rooms, in under 3 minutes, detect problem areas and get the proper extermination treatment plan to eliminate their infestation."

Hotels, motels, hospitals, long term Health Care facilities and Homeowners can now benefit from the extremely accurate detection of bed bugs that only a bed-bug detection dog can offer!
